Board approves site‑clearing application, minutes; staff warns of fake invoices

The Hilliard Planning & Zoning Board on May 28 approved a site‑clearing and site‑work application for Parcel ID 08-3N-24-2380-0193-0090 (LL Property, Application #20260513) after Land Use Administrator Lee Anne Wollitz read the staff report and the board asked no questions. The motion to approve was made by Vice Chair Dustin Winnon, seconded by Board Member Kevin Webb, and passed unanimously.
The board also voted to approve the minutes from its April 23, 2026 regular meeting (motion by Kevin Webb, second by Vice Chair Winnon; unanimous vote of present members).
During additional comments Wollitz alerted the public to fraudulent planning & zoning invoices circulating in the area and described steps her office is taking to protect applicants and citizens. She also notified the board that the June meeting will be held as a public hearing. Planning & Zoning Attorney Juan Ouintero Bornas stated he had nothing to add.
The meeting adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
