Beaufort County's local bulletin listed multiple public meetings and community notices scheduled for today.
The Bluffton Township Fire Department will meet at 4:00 p.m. at fire headquarters, 357 Fording Island Road in Okatie. Agenda items include an operations update from Chief Korn, project updates from Chief Heinemann, consideration of a policy update under new business, and an executive session to address matters covered by attorney—client privilege and issues related to the employment of a person regulated by a public body. Agenda packets are posted on the county website.
The Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs Board will also meet at 4:00 p.m. in the DSN Building (100 Clearwater Way) to provide advice to department staff and promote community awareness of services for individuals with disabilities; packets are available online.
The nine-member Beaufort Memorial Hospital board of trustees, appointed by the Beaufort County Council, will hold an executive meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the BMAC (990 Rebo Road). Board members serve rotating terms and applications to serve are available at county offices.
Bluffton High School will host a free youth football camp for kindergarten through eighth graders on July 23 and 24 at 12 H.E. McCracken Circle; sessions run 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. daily. More information is available on the Bluffton Middle School Facebook page.
