HILLIARD, Fla. — The Hilliard Town Council on May 2 approved closeout and final payments for North Oxford Street Park Phase II, recording a $200,000 Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) reimbursement and a $2,291.65 capital overage.
Town Clerk Lisa Purvis told the council that the restroom building for the project has been ordered using Nassau County municipal grant funds and is expected to arrive in approximately six months. The council voted to accept the closeout and the associated financial reconciliation; members present voted in favor.
The clerk’s remarks included a line about project-cost limits in the minutes that appears inconsistent with other figures recorded on the agenda; that statement requires verification in the official project documents. Council did not direct additional action at the meeting beyond processing the grant reimbursement and closing the grant file.
Next steps: Parks & Recreation staff will manage the restroom delivery and final closeout paperwork required by FRDAP.
