All appointment votes were unanimous.
The council approved the consent agenda, which included the minutes of the June 9 meeting, vendor bills and the May 2026 Treasurer’s Report. The meeting minutes list vendor charges that subtotal $148,459.51, bi-weekly payroll of $112,326.45 and a grand total of $260,785.96. The consent agenda motion was made by Russ Smith and seconded by Travis Kleeb and passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
During council comments, Paul Holland and others expressed appreciation for individuals serving on city boards; Councilmember Travis Kleeb asked that sight-line concerns at 10th Avenue and D Street be researched, and the mayor recommended consulting Police Chief Chris Anderson before placing the item on a future agenda. The meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m. (motion by Paul Holland, second by Joe Wamsley).
