Mayfield board signs municipal advisor contract, updates rental fees and approves consent agenda

The engagement contract with municipal advisor Baird was reviewed and approved on a motion by Lorane Smith, seconded by Larry Jackson; the rental fee update passed on a motion by Larry Jackson, seconded by Martha Wynstra; both actions were unanimously approved. The treasurer's report and current bills and salaries were reviewed and approved on unanimous votes, and a 55-item consent agenda — covering board minutes, extracurricular/field trip requests and donations — was approved on a motion by Larry Jackson, seconded by Lorane Smith.
Consent-agenda field trips listed in the minutes include travel to South Fulton, TN, Louisville, KY, Memphis, TN, McKenzie, TN and Lexington, KY on specified dates; the minutes enumerate donations for MMS boys basketball and MES PTO. The minutes report that after staff vote the chosen 2025–26 calendar option will be presented to the board in December; Kelly Stinson (DPP) presented two calendar options earlier in the meeting.
