Rothbury council moves into closed session to discuss attorney-client matter

At a special Rothbury Village Council meeting on Aug. 7, President Pro Tem Mike Harris called the session to order at 7:06 p.m. Council member Autum Drake moved that the council enter a closed session “to consider material exempt from discussion and disclosure by state or federal statute being an attorney client communication.” Council member Denise Kurdziel seconded and the motion carried 5-0 with two members absent.
The closed session, the subject of the motion, concluded at 8:14 p.m., according to the meeting record. The council did not disclose further information about the closed-session discussion in the public minutes.
