FRANKFORT — KDE leaders recognized National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month during the Feb. 6 Kentucky Board of Education meeting and outlined upcoming CTE activities.
Associate Commissioner Beth Hargis described statewide CTE activities, Policy Advisor Lauren Graves highlighted regional competitions and invited board members to serve as judges, and Agricultural Education Program Consultant Kristan Wright announced the first-ever "All in for Ag" week in March, designed to provide hands-on agricultural learning resources and community engagement. Graves also invited members to a lunch prepared by students in the Jessamine Career and Technology Center culinary program.
The presentation was informational; KDE encouraged board participation in CTE month activities and regional events.
