Jennifer Montgomery, the 2025 Kentucky Teacher of the Year, introduced herself to the Kentucky Board of Education on Feb. 5 and spoke about her teaching approach and plans for the year-long term.
Montgomery said she will spend a six-month sabbatical experience working with the Kentucky Department of Education as part of her KTOY responsibilities. KDE program consultant Allie Green joined Montgomery during the presentation. Board members received the update as informational; no board action was taken.
