The Culbertson Town Council approved and signed an Easement/Use Permit with the Montana Department of Highways for a traffic-control guide sign on the west boulevard at Third Avenue East and Highway 2; the clerk was instructed to file the easement with the Roosevelt County Courthouse.
Separately, the council adopted a Resolution of Intent to obligate Federal Revenue Sharing funds for the purchase of a second pickup, a truck diaphragm pump and a light plant. The motion to obligate funds was made, seconded and recorded in the minutes as approved; the minutes state the funds will be expended within a reasonable time.
Clerk duties following the approvals included filing the executed easement with the county recorder and preparing the budgetary obligation entries to reflect the intended equipment purchases.
