McPherson offered a $1,400 donation; the council modified the staff recommendation to purchase ten banners and new brackets using the donation and general-fund allocation for remaining costs, and the motion passed 4-0-0. Staff said banner samples would be available for council review after the meeting.
Councilmembers thanked McPherson for the donation. The item was handled as old business and no formal contract beyond the purchase authorization was recorded at the meeting.
