Charlestown parks board elects officers for 2026 and shifts meeting schedule

Nominations were opened for president, vice president and secretary as required by the board's bylaws. After nominations, the board approved Alden Roth as president, Kevin Durr as vice president and Elizabeth Ricketts as secretary; members also agreed staff would continue to collaborate on secretarial reports. The board then voted to move its regular monthly meetings to the second Thursday of each month to avoid end‑of‑year scheduling conflicts.
Chair announced the appointments following votes; members expressed appreciation for staff support in preparing reports.
