A presenter described the contract as calling for the removal and replacement of existing translucent panels, installation of flashing and provision of a Graco coating in exposed areas, and a 20-year warranty. A presenter explained Graco coating is “more of an elastomeric type coating to seal everything that it's exposed” and that the product is typically used for patching, sealing penetrations and localized repairs rather than as a full roof assembly.
After clarifying that the contract and inspection would determine final scope, a motion to approve was made and seconded and commissioners voted 4-0 to approve the project.
The commission recorded no additional conditions in the meeting minutes. Staff said final work details and materials would be confirmed by inspection and the contractor’s contract documents.
