As of July 8, total enrollment stood at 2,524 students with 19 projected seats districtwide; staff cautioned those projections are dynamic because resident applications are still being verified, pending paperwork may convert projected seats to filled seats, and new residents may enroll through August. Holly Glen kindergarten had 7 classes with capacity 168 and 164 enrolled; TK at Holly Glen showed additional capacity. Staff said middle‑school grades and elementary grades were close to capacity once pending resident enrollments are finalized.
Next steps: staff will continue daily monitoring through August, finalize residency verification and report a more detailed update at the board’s August/September meeting. Trustees emphasized resident priority for seats and noted the district’s large permit population complicates capacity planning.
