Weather slows concrete work but interior work and security plans continue at Jefferson Memorial Park

He told the board weather had delayed a scheduled concrete pour; crews hope warmer weather will allow work to resume this week or next.
"Everything's looking really nice," Gavin said. He added that staff remain focused on the Memorial Day opening target and that the project’s contractor and technical advisors are preparing an updated master schedule.
The update concluded with board questions about timing and contingency planning; staff will report further updates at future meetings.
