County approves incentive grant for Cinnabogan: company pledges 40 jobs and $15.66M investment

Dankoff told commissioners Cinnabogan plans to construct an approximately 55,000-square-foot building to house offices, training bays, classrooms and a workshop for a planned apprenticeship program. The company committed to begin construction on or before July 20, 2026, and to invest roughly $15,660,000 in building and machinery expenses, of which about $15,462,000 would qualify under the county's incentive policy.
Dankoff described a jobs commitment: the company will provide at least 40 new jobs paying an average weekly salary of $1,400, including benefits. Under the proposed agreement, the county would pay a level-3 incentive grant of $65,582 per year in post-tax grants for seven years following the project's completion, contingent on taxes being paid and other program conditions.
After Dankoff's presentation and with no public speakers signed up, the board moved and approved the incentive grant. Commissioners did not record additional conditions in the meeting transcript beyond those presented by the applicant and the county's incentive policy reference.
