Silver Creek supervisors set carryover targets, approve loader repairs and hire clerk at $27 per hour

The minutes record cleanup day expenses of $6,293.63 and income of $7,333.00.
The board also voted to hire a clerk/treasurer candidate, offering $27 per hour with a six-month review that could raise pay to $28 if the review is positive (motion by Supervisor Brandon Geyen; second by Supervisor Sandy Forsman; carried 4-0). The board scheduled a road tour for Aug. 20 starting at 8 a.m. and said it will set a budget workshop date toward the end of September.
