Silver Creek Township fills board vacancy and affirms leadership assignments

Later in the session, Geyen moved to assign Mike Helman as chairman; Helman abstained from that vote and the motion carried 3-0. Helman then moved to assign Geyen as vice chairman; Geyen abstained and that motion also carried 3-0.
The board scheduled discussion of proposed projects and the township budget for Oct. 1, 2024. No vote was recorded at the Sept. 3 meeting on those items.
