The County of Oswego Office for the Aging Advisory Council voted unanimously May 8 to appoint Kim Chetney to the seat vacated by longtime member C. Hogan.
The nomination, which C. Hogan herself suggested at her final Council meeting, was reviewed by the Nominating Committee. L. Murray moved the appointment and B. Dix seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous vote. The Council publicly thanked C. Hogan for her service to the advisory board.
Sara Sunday, Aging Services Administrator for Oswego County OFA, recorded the action in the meeting minutes. The appointment fills a vacancy on the council that advises OFA staff on senior services and programming.
