Council approves consent agenda, takes first reading on sewer easement ordinance; meeting adjourned

The council adopted the evening’s agenda by motion (first by Cantrell, second by Randall) and approved the consent agenda, which included a series of record plats (Bill 26‑56 through Bill 26‑59), an ordinance amending Chapter 15 of the city code concerning prohibited activities (Bill 26‑60), and a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a license and indemnity agreement with a right-of-way occupant (listed in materials). On new business the council heard first reading of Bill 26‑62, an ordinance to accept permanent sanitary sewer easements for properties along South Kings Highway; staff explained the easement is needed so the new private sewer upgrades can be accepted by the city. A member of the public (Norville Bridal) spoke to thank staff for cooperation on the project. The council moved the item and approved the first reading by voice vote.
