Tanya Dickinson, with the 1915 iRISE implementation project, reported that Kentucky has expanded the iRISE service area by adding two CMHC regions covering seven counties in Jefferson County/Louisville and New Vista in Lexington/Fayette. She said the program provides Medicaid‑funded community supports for adults diagnosed with serious mental illness, ranging from case management to supported employment.
Dickinson said outreach lists include more than 80 individuals in newly added regions and that the program will accept referrals in those areas effective the upcoming Monday once provider capacity is sufficient. She reported there are 14 certified providers and about 98 additional provider applications in process; program opening in a region requires sufficient providers able to offer the full set of services.
The iRISE team is conducting regular provider office hours and maintains a provider directory and referral emails and phone numbers on its website. Dickinson encouraged interested providers and participants to use those resources and said additional region announcements will follow as providers complete enrollment.
