Columbus FFA students thank district and summarize lessons from nationals

Columbus FFA students presented to the school board about their trip to the national FFA convention in Indianapolis and thanked the district for support that allowed members to attend. Alyssa Grego, who introduced herself as "president of the FFA chapter," described workshops, keynote speakers and the career fair that helped members connect with colleges and businesses.
Students named chapter attendees and recounted meeting students from many states, attending sessions on agricultural technology, livestock judging and leadership, and bringing ideas back to grow Columbus FFA. "Without your support, we wouldn't have been able to do everything that we could do," Grego said, thanking trustees for the opportunity.
Trustees congratulated the students on their presentations and competitive results at recent district events.
