Trustee Wendy Fredrickson moved to place the levy on the ballot and Trustee Daniel Moyer seconded; the board approved the proposal and adopted Supplemental Levy Resolution 08.11.25, which authorizes the district to seek funding for fiscal years 2026–2027 and 2027–2028. The board also unanimously approved a mass mailing of a levy information pamphlet to all Troy residents to notify voters about the measure.
The levy amount approved by the board is $995,000 annually for two years; the resolution sets the levy for the Nov. 4 election. The board did not specify in meeting remarks how the additional funds will be allocated in detail during this meeting beyond general budget and transparency items discussed in the superintendent’s report. Trustees approved the levy by roll call with all voting aye.
