During the audience-comments period at the Dec. 10 Heritage Pines CDD meeting a resident asked whether the district would consider supporting infrastructure or financing for a new building Heritage Pines is planning.
District Manager Chuck Adams said the matter has not formally come before the board and described only a brief conceptual conversation with the general manager more than a year earlier; he added that any CDD consideration would need to protect the front gate because of constraints tied to the district’s tax-exempt financing. Chair Kathleen Lonergan said the board needs to know specifically what support is being requested and suggested the topic could be taken up at the Feb. 18 workshop scheduled to precede the board’s next regular meeting.
No formal action was taken at the Dec. 10 meeting; the exchange was recorded as an audience comment and the board flagged the workshop as an appropriate venue for further briefing and potential discussion.
