Heritage Pines CDD accepts unaudited Oct. 31 financials; reports ICS account and pond-treatment schedule

The Heritage Pines CDD board accepted the unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024 at its Dec. 10 meeting.
District Manager Chuck Adams reported that the district established a BankUnited Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) investment account; he said the initial advertised interest of 4.75% had fallen to about 4.25% by the time of the meeting. The board accepted the unaudited statements on a motion by Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan.
Adams also reported that the district contracted with Premier Lakes to treat two ponds; the contract began Dec. 1, 2024, and the next treatments are scheduled for March and July 2025. No further financial actions were taken at the meeting.
