The petition covers two noncontiguous survey descriptions in State Center Township and was filed with two signatures from the petitioners.
A supervisor moved to accept service of the petition; the board voted unanimously to receive the petition and directed staff to start the statutory publishing and hearing steps required for a road vacation.
Board members asked staff about next steps and timing related to publishing requirements and scheduling the public hearing, and staff said they would verify publication dates and return with hearing scheduling and notification details.
