Richmond schools post open-house schedule and host free fit fair July 24 at RHS

Bridgette, a district presenter, announced Richmond Community Schools’ open-house schedule: Monday, Aug. 3 (4–6 p.m.) for all elementary schools and the Hibbert Grammar building; Tuesday, Aug. 4 (4–6 p.m.) for Baxter School and Test Intermediate School and 5–7 p.m. the same evening for Dennis Middle School and Richmond High School; Wednesday, Aug. 5 is the first day of school.
She also said Meridian Health will host a back-to-school “fit fair” on Friday, July 24 at Richmond High School, located at 380 Hub Edgeson Parkway, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will offer free health screenings provided by Meridian Health Services, low-cost immunizations provided by the Wayne County Health Department, a backpack and school-supply giveaway while supplies last, on-site school registration, free food and drinks while supplies last, and $10 sports physicals with no appointment necessary.
