Coach Cummings introduced the roster and noted three first‑team All‑State selections, saying the group "brought depth and leadership" that helped the team win a second consecutive state title. The board approved a resolution recognizing the team and named All‑State athletes by unanimous vote.
The board also recognized senior Aiden Brown. Coach Claxton described Brown’s season and resilience after a knee injury, noting "he had four double‑doubles this year" and praising his growth as a player and a person. Brown told trustees he is "still undecided" about post‑graduation plans and said he might pursue college basketball or take a gap year.
Trustees and administrators arranged for photographs and presented certificates and awards to the athletes on stage. The recognition passed on a unanimous voice vote.
