Leslie Clark, director of the Chestatee Regional Library System, presented the library’s submission for a Georgia Public Library Services Major Repair and Renovation Grant (second round). Clark’s presentation was recorded and the item was placed on the Nov. 7, 2024 voting session agenda.
Robert Drewry, Public Works Director, presented a memorandum of agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to install lighting on State Route 9 at the middle school; the board placed the agreement on the Nov. 7 voting session agenda for consideration.
Dawn Johnson, Senior Services Director, presented the FY2025 Legacy Link contract for senior services. The item was also scheduled for the Nov. 7 voting session.
Purchasing Manager Melissa Hawk presented, on behalf of Facilities Director James Tolbert (absent), a request for an exception to the county’s purchasing policy/ordinance to allow air duct cleaning at the Government Center. The board placed that exception request on the Nov. 7 voting session agenda.
The work session minutes list these four items as presentations to be moved forward to the Nov. 7 voting session; the minutes do not record debate, dollar amounts, contract terms, or the board’s final votes (if any) on Nov. 7.
