City of Juneau EMS executive members reported on June 9 that a review of EMS pay remains in progress and that officials are also checking into possible rate increases with Medical Control.
Members said they are still collecting numbers for the pay review and did not present final figures. Under New Business the board discussed potential rate increases and asked staff to return next month with firm numbers on rates, CPR review class fees, equipment guidelines and operating costs.
The meeting did not record any votes or formal approvals related to pay or rate changes; members framed these items as studies to be continued at a future meeting.
