Board approves a series of contracts, personnel appointments and easement at July meeting

The board subsequently approved her probationary appointment as principal at Denty at an annual salary of $111,842 (prorated) effective 07/17/2026–07/16/2030.
The board named Jeffrey Sessions acting district treasurer effective 06/29/2026 and authorized additional compensation of $176.58 per day while the district continues to recruit a permanent treasurer. The board also appointed Christy Boysen as interim principal at Rome Free Academy effective 08/04/2026 and authorized additional compensation of $79.13 per day while she serves in that interim role; administration said assistant‑principal vacancies will be posted and backfilled as needed.
Other actions included approving a combined boys varsity swimming and diving agreement with Vernon‑Verona‑Sherrill for 2026–27, granting temporary and permanent easements to the County of Oneida for a sewer line in consideration of $1, and approving a consulting agreement with Dr. Vivian Taylor as the district's collaborating physician for $5,000 annually plus travel reimbursement (up to $100 per month).
