Housing representatives report celebrations, maintenance work and infrastructure questions to COA

Housing representatives updated the Commission on Aging on community events, resident services and facility maintenance at the June 8 meeting.
Will Bigl reported that Rolling Hills held an International potluck with about 20 people in attendance and has a Father’s Day breakfast planned. He noted that tech-support sessions for residents continue every other Friday.
Mary Attardo said Juniper Hill Village will celebrate its 45th anniversary on July 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. She asked about the timeline for a sidewalk connecting South Eagleville to Mansfield Middle School and about lighting on Separatist Road. Commission members suggested she check with John Carrington at the Department of Public Works for timelines and approvals.
Attardo also said Juniper Hill is preparing folders for new residents with links to the town and Senior Center websites, and that roofs and siding work is planned in the near future. A pizza party with music is scheduled for June 10.
No formal housing-related motions or votes were taken at the meeting.
