Planner Ashton Jones presented the JLUB’s master plan consistency review on June 19, 2025, concluding that a proposed KLRP zoning amendment that would allow a 72‑unit, 100% affordable housing development on block 16, lot 5 is not inconsistent with Woolwich Township’s Master Plan.
Jones told the board the amendment would require updates to the zoning ordinance for that parcel, including permitted uses, bulk standards, parking standards (clarification of off‑street versus on‑street parking), subdivision and design standards, and typical street‑tree, curb and sidewalk requirements. The planner noted anything not addressed in the amendment would default to township standards.
The board voted to recommend that the ordinance is not inconsistent with the Master Plan (motion by Grasso; second by Kauffman; roll call recorded as Yes by members present). The JLUB then adopted Resolution 2025‑20 (motion by Rushton; second by Nocentino). No public comment on this ordinance review was recorded in the minutes.
The JLUB meeting adjourned at approximately 8:55 p.m.
