The council amended the motion to add "not to exceed $59,690" to allow for any incidental costs and set Ordinance 1664 for second reading on 03/04/2026; vote was 5‑0.
Council discussion included staff clarification that the card price was higher because of card fees and that the city would not use a credit card for the purchase.
