Woolwich Committee tables three payment resolutions, seeks billing records on pump station

The Woolwich Township Committee on May 19 voted unanimously to table three payment-related resolutions — R-2025-133, R-2025-134 and R-2025-135 — after Committeeman Frederick questioned why the bills remained open and whether the charges reflected the rates in effect at the project start.
During public comment a resident from 10 Wilshire Blvd asked for documentation breaking down the final payment under R-2025-133 for the pump station between the County and relevant municipalities and requested all billings to Mount Royal that involve Woolwich, Swedesboro and the County. Mayor Matthias said the Township should have the records and that staff would request they be provided to the resident.
Frederick asked the Township Engineer to double-check the contested bills and to report back at the next Township meeting. The Committee’s motion to table the three resolutions passed on a 5-0 roll call; the items will remain on the agenda until staff returns with billing details.
