Monroe planning commission approves site design review for South Benton Food Pantry with handicap parking condition

The Monroe Planning Commission on Jan. 5 approved a site design review for the South Benton Food Pantry, voting to clear the nonprofit to modernize its facility while attaching technical and accessibility conditions.

Staff presented a set of conditions the commission said must be met before a building permit is issued, including verification of existing water and sewer service, engineer-of-record review of any proposed connections or upsizing, a qualified stormwater management plan, and fire access and turnout plans approved by the fire chief.
