Trustees bundled the travel requests into a single vote and approved them unanimously (voice vote recorded as "7 to nothing"). The board also asked coaches and advisers to return with trip reports after travel; cross‑country students offered to report back to the board after the November competition.
District staff and advisers discussed logistics and fundraising. For a proposed EF tour of southern Italy, an adviser estimated a per‑student cost in the mid‑$5,000s and said the package included flights, lodging, ground transportation and many meals; trustees asked that the adviser continue planning and provide details needed for families.
Outcome: all presented out‑of‑state travel requests approved (7–0).
