On facilities procurement, the board accepted a quote from Crunch's Building and Development LLC for greenhouse work after an earlier contractor increased a previous $15,000 bid to $30,000. Staff reminded the board that project funds must be spent by June 30 to obligate the current fiscal year balance.
The board also nominated a three-person scholarship committee (Jared, Bridget and Justin) to review Floyd Ingram scholarship applications; the Floyd Ingram scholarship is targeted to students with specific learning disabilities and has an application deadline set for April 30.
