At its Aug. 19 meeting the Coral Creek Urban Renewal Agency took a set of routine administrative actions and votes. The board voted to make the city's new mayor the chair of the Urban Renewal Agency after a nomination and a voice vote.
The board approved the minutes of the June 17, 2025 regular meeting by voice vote following a motion to approve.
The agency also considered and approved Resolution 25-002 and Resolution 25-003 to grant signature authority on Urban Renewal Agency documents to two staff members identified in the resolutions. A staff member moved to approve the resolutions and a second was recorded; the board approved both resolutions by voice vote.
The meeting record contains a transcription inconsistency in the spelled name for one staff member referenced in the signing resolutions: the packet language and spoken motion include both "Zach Potter" and later "Zach Carter." The board's action as recorded in the meeting transcript was to grant signing authority to Luke Dillon and the staff member identified in the resolutions (name appears inconsistently in the transcript). The resolutions were adopted by voice vote; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript.
