BOCC approves two land-use applications: Lazy E-C subdivision and Buena Vista boundary adjustment

The board approved Subdivision LUC-26-00001 (Lazy E-C LLC), a two-lot subdivision with no additional residences allowed and updated well permits, and Boundary Line Adjustment LUC-24-00050 (Buena Vista Land Partnership LLC) consolidating parcels in Antelope Hills and eliminating one buildable lot.
Planner Rachael Blondy presented two land-use items to the Gunnison County Board on July 7. For Subdivision LUC-26-00001 (Lazy E-C LLC) Blondy said the proposal creates two lots where development already exists, no additional residences will be allowed, and the applicant obtained updated well permits and augmentation from the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservation District since the June joint public hearing.
For Boundary Line Adjustment LUC-24-00050 (Buena Vista Land Partnership LLC), Blondy explained the adjustment in Antelope Hills would consolidate three parcels into portions of a fourth parcel, removing development potential on the fourth lot.
On motions by Commissioner Houck and second by Commissioner Smith, the board approved both applications and authorized the Vice-Chair to sign the plats; both motions carried unanimously.
