The Brunswick Town Council on July 6 approved several appointments to town boards and committees and recorded an announcement that Councilor Kathy Wilson intends to resign later this year.
Councilor Kim Anderson presented nominations including Lindy Magness for the Parks and Recreation Commission, Cory Theberge as the Rivers and Coastal Waters Representative, and Susan Kamin and Zac Champ for the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee. The council voted 8–0 to appoint the nominees.
Later in the meeting Councilor Kathy Wilson announced she will be resigning from the council this year; the minutes do not specify an effective date. The council approved the meeting’s consent agenda and then adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
