The Merrimac Board of Assessors met at Town Hall on June 8, 2026, and moved to approve and sign the minutes from its May 11 meeting and several motor-vehicle excise abatement applications before adjourning at 5:04 p.m.
Board Chair Susan Searle opened the meeting at 4:06 p.m. and recorded members present: Gena Sinibaldi, Daniel Domings, Matt Passeri (welcomed as the Selectboard liaison), Heather Roche and Madison Fortier. The board noted no roll-call vote or tallies in the minutes for the approvals.
Board member Heather Roche provided a series of administrative updates. She said personal-property notices, income-and-expense forms and business-certificate mailings have been sent to the vendor Catalis for processing. Map updates were submitted to the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission for processing, and permits and cyclicals were also sent to Catalis for verification. The minutes state, “8 of 58 Application has been filed and approved by the Department of Revenue”; the record does not clarify the precise meaning of that line item.
Roche reported that BM zoning-request changes have been completed and that the Preliminary Date Bridge is scheduled for completion on June 10, 2026. The board also reviewed its end-of-fiscal-year budget during the meeting.
The board set its next meeting for 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Merrimac Town Hall.
