Silver Creek P&Z approves agenda and past minutes, then adjourns

The Silver Creek Township Planning and Zoning board completed routine business at its Sept. 3, 2024 meeting, approving the agenda and past minutes before considering a variance request.
After Chairman Chris Klein called the meeting to order, Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen recorded attendance: seven members present (Mike Helman, Brandon Geyen, Ryan Nelson, Chris Klein, Tom Vanek, Jesse Dickinson, Justin Hall), two members absent (Sandy Forsman, Mark Egge), twelve residents in person and four participants via Zoom.
Member Mike Helman moved to approve the agenda; Brandon Geyen seconded and the board carried the motion, 7-0. Member Tom Vanek moved to approve the minutes of Aug. 6, 2024; Mike Helman seconded. Justin Hall and Jesse Dickinson abstained from the minutes vote because they were not present at that prior meeting; the motion carried 5-0 with two abstentions.
Following the agenda and minutes approvals, the board considered a variance request and later adjourned; Brandon Geyen moved to adjourn and Tom Vanek seconded, and the motion carried 7-0.
