The board, chaired by Chairman Mike Helman, met with Vice Chair Brandon Geyen, Supervisor Ryan Nelson, Supervisor Andy Christensen, Supervisor Sandy Forsman and Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen in attendance. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and a series of procedural votes: the agenda and the list of disbursements were approved, and the May 6, 2025 minutes were approved with two abstentions.
Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the agenda; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded, and the motion carried 5-0. Nelson moved to approve the list of disbursements; Forsman seconded and the board carried that motion 5-0. The minutes list audited claims with amounts: $70.20, $487.58, $327.65 and $879.25.
During the open forum, resident Travis Johnson requested a second driveway approach. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the request; Vice Chair Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
Under clerk and administrative matters, Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen presented a request to cover supervisors' costs to attend a law review. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve payment of those costs; Vice Chair Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
On maintenance matters, Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to authorize up to $20,000 for the purchase of a mower; Supervisor Ryan Nelson seconded and the motion carried 5-0. The board noted grader repairs and final road specifications but deferred those items to the next meeting for further consideration.
The meeting concluded when Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to adjourn; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded. The minutes record the motion to adjourn with no further business listed.
