Silver Creek Township supervisors approve agenda, minutes, payables and several administrative motions

The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors approved routine agenda items and several administrative motions at its Sept. 16 meeting.
The board (Chairman Mike Helman; Supervisors Ryan Nelson and Andy Christensen) unanimously approved the meeting agenda and a list of disbursements. Nelson moved to approve the agenda; Christensen seconded and the motion carried 3-0. Nelson moved to approve the list of disbursements; Christensen seconded and that motion carried 3-0. For the 08-05 meeting minutes Nelson moved for approval, Christensen seconded and Helman abstained; the minutes carried 2-0. Christensen moved to approve the 09-02 minutes, Helman seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
The board also approved several other administrative motions. Christensen moved to approve a Minnesota bid check for $118.68 (second: Nelson); carried 3-0. Christensen moved to approve the township’s credit card policy as written (second: Nelson); carried 3-0. Chairman Mike Helman moved to approve removal of carpet and concrete polishing by QC for up to $12,070.00 (second: Nelson); carried 3-0. In new business, Helman moved to authorize Shellquist to place a driveway in the township right-of-way to connect three properties to a new road (second: Christensen); the motion carried 3-0.
The meeting adjourned on a motion by Ryan Nelson, seconded by Andy Christensen; carried 3-0.
