Committee members discussed reaching out to a local dentist, hospice services, the VA and other health providers. S3 said the VA contact indicated the VA could attend but would not pay for services.
Committee members outlined desired vendor types — a wills attorney, a dietitian or nutrition group, physical therapists and possibly alternative-health providers — and assigned follow-up contacts. S5 volunteered to recruit some vendors and S2 asked that all participants be locked in by the January meeting so promotional materials can be finalized.
The committee also discussed logistics: timing of the fair (aiming for the spring schedule), coordination on waivers and sign-ups, and opportunities to include the Pinellas County "Keep Pinellas Beautiful" partnership on related outreach for community cleanups. No formal vote was recorded; the discussion produced assignments for outreach and a target deadline for confirmations.
