Glenville mayor reports building renovations complete, schedules community cleanup and budget work session

On internal operations, Sarver reported the city has experienced problems with the ADP timekeeping system; staff are using timesheets as a temporary workaround while vendor issues are addressed. He also reminded council that the budget must be submitted by April 1, 2026, and that the council will hold a budget work session on March 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Regarding infrastructure, Sarver said there is no change to the new bridge project’s status but the minutes record the statement "during construction Brooklyn will be shut off." The minutes do not specify whether that refers to a road closure, water service interruption, or another action; the council should expect further detail in future communications.
Old business items remained on the agenda: the Laura Bell matter at 505 Walnut Street (formerly 213 Bailey) was tabled, and Sarver said he met with Community Resources about community needs and will report back in April.
