Madison aldermen renew cleaning resolutions for multiple properties, including 164 St. Augustine Drive

The Madison Board of Aldermen on Sept. 17 adopted cleaning resolutions authorizing city crews to clean multiple private properties where maintenance issues were documented.
Code Enforcement Officer Steve Greenough asked the Board to renew Cleaning Resolutions for 12 Galleria Parkway parcels and for several lots in North Place Reserve that have ash-tree issues. No members of the public attended the hearing to speak on those properties; the Board voted unanimously to adopt the resolutions following Greenough’s request.
Greenough also reported that the owner of 164 St. Augustine Drive is currently hospitalized and unable to care for the property; after speaking with the owner’s representatives, the Board unanimously adopted a Cleaning Resolution for that address on a motion by Alderman Tankersley.
The minutes state the adopted Cleaning Resolutions are attached as Exhibit BB in the official record. The Board’s action authorizes the City to proceed with cleanup work as described in the board materials.
