Grant County approves bills, highway payment and DNR grant resolution

Grant County commissioners on July 7 approved routine county bills, authorized a final highway payment on a county road contract and approved a Department of Natural Resources grant resolution to support bathroom facilities and maintenance at the county ATV Park.
The board approved payment of the bills as recorded in the minutes; listed fund totals included General Revenue $208,566.37, Road & Bridge $200,139.28 and Debt Service Fund $7,022.50. The minutes enumerate vendor payments, including a $153,782.66 payment to Grant County Ag Society and $106,175.80 to Redstone Construction.
On highway business the board approved the final payment on the CR 34 contract for $8,756.23 (motion by Commissioner Doyle Sperr, second by Commissioner Troy Johnson). The board also approved DNR Grant Resolution 20260707-1 to fund bathroom facilities and maintenance at the county ATV Park; that resolution was moved by Commissioner Troy Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Bill LaValley and carried.
