The Ravenswood Common Council on April 7 tabled a proposed ordinance that would create a Ravenswood Special Projects Fund and conducted a first reading of an amendment to RMC 6.28.010 concerning the driving age for golf carts.
Recorder Jared Bloxton moved to table the new-ordinance agenda item that would establish the Special Projects Fund (its purpose and qualifying criteria). Councilor Jeff Koon seconded the motion and the council voted to table the item until the April 21 meeting. The minutes record the tabling motion as approved by all members present.
Separately, the agenda included a first reading of an amendment to RMC 6.28.010 addressing driving age for golf carts in the city. The minutes note the first reading but do not show a vote or next steps for the amendment.
The council handled both ordinance items as matters requiring further consideration; the Special Projects Fund item will return to the April 21 agenda.
