Museum volunteers warn of water damage, urge city to fund roof and window repairs

A museum staff member said volunteers routinely spend hours mopping water and that the building is a "public trust" housing irreplaceable artifacts. An AmeriCorps member who works at the museum said the building had been closed for a month in winter because upstairs temperatures fell to roughly 40 degrees, and described multiple leaks: "We've got 12 leaks today," they said.
